Where Have All The Flowers Gone-花兒都到哪裏去了

《Where Have All the Flowers Gone?》，中文譯爲《花兒都到哪裏去了？》，是美國民歌歌手Pete Seeger（皮特•西格）創作的一首歌曲。

Seeger創作此歌的靈感産生于1955年前往俄亥俄州開演唱會的飛機上。當時他在手邊的筆記本上寫下“Where have all the flowers gone? Gone to young girls, every one!”，“Where have all the young girls gone? Gone to young men, every one!”，“Where have all the young men gone? Gone to soldiers, every one!”。這些歌詞來自于Seeger在一至兩年前讀過的俄羅斯長篇小說《靜靜的頓河》（1934年）裏面的哥薩克民歌。

Seeger將他寫的前三段歌詞配上了一首俄羅斯民謠的曲調，錄進了他1960年7月的專輯《The Rainbow Quest》中的一首集成曲（medley）裏面，然後就忘記了。Joe Hickerson（喬•西克森）在1960年5月續寫了後面的歌詞，讓這首歌成爲了一首可以循環演唱的歌曲。
